Caregiver Notes and Invoice

Nikki Lopez 1 year ago in Billing 0

Insurance companies and the VA requests care notes with invoices. It would make life more efficient for us, and them, to get ONE email and not 2. The email icon after creating invoice should be able to attach notes. Running this business and having to go elsewhere to download and upload 2 documents is not efficient not the best use of our time.

Billing with Authorization ID

john maglasang 1 year ago in Billing 0

After being in this industry for over a year, we've got a handle on how private insurance folks operate. It became clearer once we began taking insurance plans and signing contracts with authorization IDs. After hearing some advice from a manager at one of our contractor companies, they emphasized the importance of including authorization IDs on our invoices for better tracking. Frankly, I'm let down by the fact that CareSmartz360 doesn't allow us to customize our invoices. I get that they don't offer a wide range of services, but still, it's a bummer.

Having authorization ID with service type and the option to have the caregivers name on the invoice.

Back to back shifts

Diana 1 year ago in Scheduling 0

Remove tasks, message requirements for back to back shifts. Make scheduling and clock in/out easier for ADL/IADL back to back shifts. We've had issues with the auto clock out/in not working.

Alerts

Dawn 1 year ago in Client Module 0

I have been finding myself purchasing different software just to get the things that I need. I would absolutely love to have everything in one place. Alerts are very imperative to running any form of business, especially healthcare. When it comes to alerts and reminders that is very important for our organization. I think that the alerts should be made priority.

Examples

1. I have Medicaid clients that are required to have supervisory visits every 30, 60, 90, or 120 days. If there were a recurring reminder in Caresmartz360_Agency when the supervisory visits are due it will save agencies from a lot of citations, and will help us stay organized and on top of our paperwork

2. Reassessments if a client is due for a reassessment the nurse and agency should get an alert that these reassessments are due. One thing that agencies always get cited for no matter what state is missed supervisory visits and missed reassessments. Having these alerts will assist us in maintaining proper care for our clients, and not missing these visits.

The alerts piece that is missing from CareSmartz could be the most important thing to all agencies these alerts should be via text message, email and notification through the app.

I also know that there will be a cost to this and this could be made an A la carte option for agencies to pay a little extra for this service, and I am willing to do that. There is already a space for this on the client profile under reassessment the date if there were at least three more boxes added there then this will take care of the alerts portion.

Expiration Dates client document

Dawn 1 year ago in Client Module 0

Hello,

It will be helpful for the agency owners that like to keep track of their paperwork and make sure that all of their paperwork is up-to-date to have an expiration date column in the clients documents. If we have an expiration date, then we will know when documents need to be updated. In some states, you have to have documents, updated, yearly, we have no way of knowing when a clients document expire unless we open the actual document. This feature should include an expiration date alert is well. This will assist agencies with keeping track of everything in an organized manner.

Invoice

We should be able to create manual invoices, not associated with a Caregiver or shift, for instance for random transportation requests.

Hospitalizations and alerts

Chelsea 1 year ago in Client Module 0

Is it possible to add a place to client hospitalization logs and alerts if the client is logged to a hospitalization. this alert should be out to go to office staff and nurses just like the other alerts or even the option to log it like a communication.

Assessment (Care Plan) NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION

Dawn 1 year ago in Client Module updated 1 year ago 1

With the assessments, the CarePlan task is developed HOWEVER when another assessment is opened whether it is a Nurse Assessment or a Supervisory visit all of the tasks disappear unless that other form is marked complete. The supervisory visit is different from the Assessment so there is absolutely no point in overriding the Assessment for the Sup visit.

Care [Plans are very imperative to the care of the client. There should be a way to develop the task list individually for our clients where the tasks are ALWAYS showing up for the caregiver whether a Supervisory visit has been opened after an assessment or not. Yes, there is a way to add tasks to each Service Type however it is not Person-Centered or Specific to each individual client just each service type.

Having to open and complete a new assessment each time a form is created just so that the caregivers can complete the task is beyond double working.

There has to be a way to make the client's care plan separate from anything that can be overridden by another form that has nothing to do with the specific form. Now if another assessment was opened after that Nurse assessment was complete it would make more sense. For a care plan to be overridden by a supervisory visit or any other assessment form does not make any sense at all. Please add a way to develop a client-specific care plan that will stick with the client unless updated.
