2 Caregivers scheduled at same shift by mistake...

kendall 1 year ago in Scheduling 0

Allow the system to alert the scheduler if they're scheduling 2 caregivers for the same shift. Although we sometimes might need 2 people at the same shift, it could also be double-scheduled by mistake, and it'd be nice to have a warning. Thanks!

Allow signatures from Clients to be recorded only one time per week.

Eugene Yang 4 years ago in Scheduling updated by Lisa Izzo 4 years ago 3

In order to be in compliance in our state, a signature is needed from the client. Some of our caregivers have overnight schedules where the client is usually sleeping so to wake them up everyday while they are sleeping just to get a signature at the end of every shift is very inconvenient. Before EVV was mandatory, clients only had to sign once on the paper timesheets (DMAS-90) that covered one weeks worth. It would be great if you could update the system where the client would only have to sign once per week instead of having to sign at the end of every caregiver shift.

There may be emergencies where the caregiver may have to call out sick which would make implementing one signature at the end of the week very difficult to do. If you were to have the client sign on the first day of the caregiver's weekly shift, it could help alleviate this problem and have them only sign once per week even if a temporary caregiver had to work mid-week.

Thank you!

There are two reports that allow you to select and print a custom date range. Reports>>Scheduling>>Weekly Schedule w.r.t Client

There is also one from the caregiver perspective.

Make it possible to see "Modification History"

Julie Blasko 4 years ago in Scheduling updated by Lisa Izzo 4 years ago 1

It would be most helpful for many reasons to be able to quickly see which Admin User made a modification to a shift or reoccurrence. I really hope this can be added. With multiple office staff required to make changes it is often helpful to see who changed something. Both old info and new info would be necessary to see.

Example:  Shift 2pm-4pm to 1pm -3pm (Who changed this?) Mary in the night shift next Monday and now Scott is in that shift (Who made this change?)

PLEASE Caresmartz!!  Make this a feature!!

Make the "Service Type" to both Caregiver and Client Schedule visible.

Julie Blasko 4 years ago in Scheduling updated by Lisa Izzo 4 years ago 2

As the person who does the Master Schedules for clients I can usually remember what shifts are what Service Types.

When things get really busy it can be easy to forget. Also, if other office staff need to answer questions from Clients, Client family members, or caregivers, it can be very difficult for them to do so when the Service Type isn't readily available.

Example: Mrs Smith's daughter may call to ask when Mary took her Mother shopping last week. When going to Mary's schedule it isn't clear because all you can see if the start and end time of shifts. Some of our clients have multiply types of visits. (Shopping, Personal Care, Transportation)

This would be so very helpful and a feature I really miss in our old scheduling software.

Cancel multiple shifts at once

Shie Gorman 4 years ago in Scheduling updated by Lisa Izzo 4 years ago 1

Like Bulk Schedule Delete you don't necessarily want to delete all shifts but being able to cancel multiple shifts at once is more efficient than having to individually change each shift.
