Service Date Range for bi-weekly billing

Mark 4 years ago in Billing updated by kate lewis 2 years ago 1

We invoice our clients on bi-weekly basis. So when we create our new invoice batch the default service date range is based on the date that was set in the billing module. I suggest that the Service Date Range will be every other Monday for bi-weekly setting so the date range is always current and we won't have to scroll to the current month.

Add a custom rate for secondary payer

Peter Gray (Staff) 4 years ago in Billing updated 3 years ago 4

Would it be possible to create a custom billing rate for secondary payer? Currently, all visits are billed at the same rate for secondary payer as primary payer. But a client with a primary payer with authorization (such as VA authorization) needs to be billed at 1 rate while the secondary payer (typically the client) needs to be billed at a different rate.

New Invoice Format is TERRIBLE!!

mraney 5 years ago in Billing updated by Lisa Izzo 4 years ago 2

I hate to say it but the new template for invoices is quite unprofessional with the column header appearing over each and every visit record on the invoice. And to think there is no other option for users to select a different template to provide to clients.  I was told by support that this new format was requested by many agencies and implemented on 9/30/2020, but I can not believe that a column header over each record was ever suggested.  Or that extra space should exist between the street address and city/state line in the "Make checks payable to" section of the footer.  Or that there is no dollar sign being printed in the amount due in the same footer.  This ultimately cost agencies additional paper.  I am all for improvements but not sloppy ones.

Client drop down list for billing

Peter Gray (Staff) 5 years ago in Billing updated by kate lewis 2 years ago 1

A recent (unannounced) change to the drop down list for clients in the billing area now includes all clients who have approved shifts that have not yet been billed. Great idea! However, the drop down client list includes clients who have approved shifts that are marked as Not Billable. Clients who have Approved shifts that are billable (and not yet billed) should be on the client list. Clients who have Approved shifts that have already been billed should not be on the drop down client list. Not Billable shifts should not cause a client name to be on the drop down client list. There is no way to remove a client's name from the drop down client list when the only reason the client name is there is due to Not Billable shfts. Over time, the client list will just continue to grow & be less user friendly. (Our drop down list has grown from ~40 to over 90 due to this change.)
