Adding Notes After Shift

Some clients require continuous care with no downtime to add notes. There should be the availability to enter notes after a shift ends. It is a lot of work to get notes from caregiver, then have to find a compute to update on their behalf since I can even do that from my cell phone unless I am editing a previous msg.

you can add notes after shifts end by going to that shift and clicking "visit note" top right hand corner. click + sign then write note then save.

I agree with this as well. It makes it difficult and time consuming to follow up with these issues and takes a lot of admin time. Caregivers need the ability to add notes as well as document their tasks after the shift ends. ASAP

The ability for a caregiver to document tasks and notes after the shift would be a huge time saver for office staff. What currently happens is the caregiver gets a notification that they missed the clock in/out only after the time threshold has passed. At that point it is too late and now someone in the office has to manually document their clock and enter their notes and tasks. If they had the ability to still enter/edit their own tasks and notes still would be a huge time savings.

What would be better is if the reminder to clock in/out was sent at the clock time not the threshold time. That way they still have a chance to do everything themselves. Even better would be to also allow them to document tasks and notes and then when they attempt to clock outside the threshold, the system says you are outside the threshold, asks what time the shift started/ended, asks the reason, and then the visit is marked in the system as an exception with a needs review status. Then the office staff just have to review the information and accept/edit and approve.

in our office, caregivers can go back and finish tasks and write note for any shift as long as it has not been approved. once approved then office needs to manually put in everything
