It would be great if you could create a tab that says 'Attendance Record' and then customize categories and items of offense, set the various point values (either nested within a tree or group offenses by point value), and then click 'add' to their attendance record. 

Set a time limit for the points to reset/fall off. Mark as excused/unexcused, add documentation to the offense, time and date of offense/notice time, create alerts for when thresholds are met.
